Ozil ‘transfer agreed’ as Fenerbahce plan ‘special ceremony’
Mesut Ozil and Fenerbahce have reportedly agreed terms over the Arsenal midfielder’s proposed move to Turkey this month.
The German is expected to sign his new contract by Saturday with a ‘special presentation ceremony’ planned on his arrival.

Ozil has been frozen out by Mikel Arteta at Arsenal this season and hasn’t featured for the club since March.
He’s been linked with a move to the MLS but it appears Fenerbahce have won the race for his signature.
According to Turkish outlet Sabah (via Sport Witness), everything is almost in place after Ozil’s legal representatives spoke to the Arsenal hierarchy.
The 32-year-old is set to be handed the number 23 shirt at his presentation ceremony in Turkey.
Arteta was asked about Ozil in his Thursday press conference, ahead of his side’s clash with Newcastle.
The Spaniard said: “If something is sorted this month it is because it is good for both parties – for Mesut and for the club. If that is the case we will move forward, if it is not the case then he will continue here. We will decide what is happening in the next few days.”
